Focus Areas
The World of Athens in concerned with every idea which could affect the lives of the citizens, in order to:
- enhance the quality of life,
- continuously improve the urban environment and to
- boost participation in the decision-making process.
The World of Athens will operate as one single, independent repository of ideas which rely on innovation and which can be transformed into concrete and politically practicable proposals: ideas which the society will embrace, will apply and which will further develop on the basis of its own needs.
In order to achieve this end, we chose to begin with three main thematic foci covering a large proportion of our goals. We chose subjects which substantively affect the lives of the citizens. However, this does not mean that we are limited to one level. Every idea which has substance, every policy which has an end, every practice which contributes has a place in the World of Athens.
